Mark's Game Reviews

Listen to Mark's views on the latest and greatest (or maybe worst!) video game releases. With over 30 years of gaming experience I know what I like and don't like to see in a game. I also take my time to explore and fully play through a game, without worrying about rushing out a review to meet press deadlines. Gaming is supposed to be fun and entertaining after all ;) Mark's Game Reviews on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMJ-DH40elChs4eLWjziBDg

Is Assassins Creed: Origins still worth playing in 2020? Was it ever worth playing? The ancient Egyptian world that this is set in looks amazing, but have Ubisoft managed to fill that world with absorbing and engaging gameplay? They have not. My Assassins Creed Origins review goes over the problems I found with the game.

Welcome to my Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout review! Is Fall Guys worth playing? Yes! I quite enjoy it, although usually in short sessions. It also has a few problems you need to be aware of. Cheating in Fall Guys is currently an obvious problem, although the developers are working on a fix for that. Its also very random which games you get, which can be frustrating.

Desperados 3 may look like a gun slingin' strategy game where you need to use stealth, but I found it played much more like a puzzle game where you had to figure out how to get past each encounter much like you would build a jigsaw; once you find the one piece thats critical the rest falls into place. This is my review.

My review of Maneater on the PC. In an unusual twist you play a man-eating shark out for revenge in a completely wacky and hilarious button-smashing adventure. However...it has many problems.
